What we collect

BloxBack collects the minimum information needed to operate the Robux rebate program:

  • Roblox username and user ID — recorded automatically when you make your first purchase through the BloxBack game. This is publicly available information on Roblox.
  • Purchase history — item name, item price, and rebate amount for each purchase made through the in-game shop. Used to calculate and track your Robux back balance.
  • Payout records — date and amount of Robux sent to you via Roblox's group payout system.
  • Saved cart items — if you use the BloxBack Chrome extension, items you save while browsing the Roblox catalog are stored so they can sync to the in-game Item Buyer.

What we don't collect

  • We never ask for your Roblox password or login credentials.
  • We never access your Roblox account — payouts are sent via Roblox's official group payout system, which requires no account access on our end.
  • We don't collect email addresses, real names, or any information beyond what's listed above.

How your data is used

Your username, purchase history, and balance are used solely to calculate and pay out your Robux rebate. Purchase data is visible on the public balance lookup page at /lookup — anyone who knows your Roblox username can see your BloxBack purchase history and balance. Payout notes and internal commission details are never shown publicly.

Chrome extension

The BloxBack Chrome extension reads your Roblox session to identify your username (using Roblox's own /v1/users/authenticated API — no password involved). It stores your saved cart items locally in chrome.storage and syncs them to our database so they appear in-game. The extension only runs on www.roblox.com catalog, bundle, and game-pass pages.

Data storage

All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (serverless Postgres). The website is hosted on Vercel.
